How do I add a medication?
Open Scan and take a photo of your prescription label — PillPal reads the details for you. Prefer to type it in? Tap “Type it yourself” on the same screen and fill in the form.
The app couldn't read my bottle. What do I do?
Try again in good light and hold the label flat to the camera — a window works best. Still no luck? Use “Type it yourself” to enter the medication by hand. You never have to rely on the photo.
How do I let a family member help?
Go to Settings → Caregivers → Invite and enter their email. They can view your schedule and reminders, but only you can make changes. You can remove their access at any time.
How do I share my medications with my doctor?
Open Doctor → Share and create a link. Show the QR code at your appointment or send the link ahead of time — your doctor sees a clean summary with no login needed.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings, scroll to the Danger Zone, and follow the prompts. This permanently removes your account and all of your data.
